Parking Pass Scandal Looms for Vez
It is late on a Saturday night and emboldened with Dutch courage, Vez slurs the question which could be his downfall, "Hey pal, could you get me a parking pass for Wednesdays game?". At this point the music stops, conversations stutter to a halt as innocent bysitters realize the enormity of what has just been said. Somewhere, a woman begins to cry. An old man stands up and leaves in outraged silence, pausing only cast a withering glance in the direction of Vez. Fortunately for Vez, he has not yet realized just what he has said and continues to drool quietly into the remains of his beer. Such a favour demands a price. Such is the price that the favour is only asked in times of desperation. Usually a first born son. Sometimes half the kingdom or a chest of gold from a dragons lair. Unaware of his commitment, Vez slides of his chair onto the floor with a happy smile on his face.
